Join us on Sunday, April 21 as we start a new five-week worship series called Finding God in the Movies. We are excited about this series, because it reflects a greater spiritual exercise. We believe that God is always speaking, and if we’re listening, we can learn, grow, and deepen our faith, even as we watch movies. Throughout our series, we will explore spiritual truths in contemporary films released within the last year. So, here are the movies: Oppenheimer (April 21), The Color Purple (April 28), The Holdovers (May 5), Barbie (May 12), and Wish (May 19).

This is going to be a lot of fun, and it might be even more fun if you watch the movies ahead of time.* In fact, you may even want to get together with a friend or two to have a movie watch party. However you do it, let’s have a great time and grow together in faith. We’ll see you on Sunday, April 21 for the start of Finding God in the Movies.

*With the appropriate subscriptions, you can stream The Color Purple & Barbie on Max, The Holdovers on Peacock, Wish on Disney+ (beginning April 3) and you can rent Oppenheimer or any of the above movies on your favorite streaming applications like Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Vudu and others
