Who We Are
Pflugerville United Methodist Church is a Methodist Community, and we follow the beliefs and traditions of the United Methodist Church worldwide. We are ordinary people seeking and sharing God's love with one another and the world, and we place a strong emphasis on nurturing the family as well as the individual. We offer a variety of small groups, Bible studies, prayer and support groups, and activities for adults, students (youth), children, and families as well as traditional and contemporary worship services. We have worshiped in Pflugerville, Texas since 1983.
We Are Excited to Meet You
We want to welcome everyone as they enter to worship, and our Greeters are available to help you. Just look for the badges that read ‘Ask Me. I Can Help!’ Let us know you are new if you are comfortable doing so. Stop by the hospitality tables inside the Sanctuary entry hall or the Family Life Center entry hall after the service if you would like to meet the Pastor.
What Time Is Church?
We have two worship services on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. and a bi-monthly lay-lead evening service.
9 AM Service is a traditional Service with hymns, choir anthems, and a message from our Pastor. The praise band provides gospel music on the 4th Sunday of each month.
11:15 AM Service offers band-led contemporary music in a more relaxed setting that includes an area with tables where families can sit together with quiet activities for the children. The Pastor delivers a message.
The Gathering is a lay-led service at 7 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month with praise music provided by the praise band and a message brought by a lay speaker.
Bring the Kids!
Our nursery is available for infants through age 36 months. The nursery is located in the Sanctuary building. Our childcare workers are certified in First Aid, and have passed a Safe Sanctuary background check.
We love to have children in worship with us. Pastor Wade shares a message with the children during both services. Busy Bags are available in the 9 a.m. service. Please see an Usher or a Greeter for a bag. If you feel the need, you are welcome to sit with your child in the Worship and Wiggles Room at the back of the Sanctuary. There are tables available at the 11:15 a.m. service where you and your children can sit together. Paper, colors, and small craft supplies are available.
We have Children’s Small Group time in the Education Building from 10:15 – 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings for children from Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

A Letter from Our Pastor
As pastor of Pflugerville First United Methodist Church (PFUMC), I thank you for worshipping with us. I understand visiting a new church can be overwhelming. Please do not hesitate to ask anyone if you have questions about our facility or any of our various ministries.
As you get to know people at PFUMC, we hope you find us to be humble and gracious. We have come to know God’s love and forgiveness, not because we deserve it, but simply because of God’s mercy given to us in Jesus. We seek to become a people who are humble before God and gracious with each other.
At PFUMC, our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We don’t expect anyone to show up a super Christian. And certainly there are no super Christians here. We admit we need God and each other to become the people God created us to be. Come as you are and enjoy worship services that offer biblical truth in practical ways.
I hope it won't take you long to discover that we're more than just a Sunday church. In fact, our goal is to establish a network of small groups. And if you'd like to develop authentic and enduring relationships with others, you'll be glad to know there are opportunities to join a group.
Together, we're striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there's down to earth teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. In short, we'd like to have the kind of contagious Christianity that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
So whether you're a spiritual seeker who's just starting to ask questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to use your gifts in many different ways, you can find a home here.
