Pastor russell

I can’t tell you how excited we are for you to stop by our website. We hope it will provide a small snapshot of who we are. At Pflugerville UMC, you will find people of all ages, backgrounds, and occupations sharing a common bond to grow in our understanding of God’s love for us through Jesus Christ. We are an active community that understands the importance of allowing our faith to impact our lives and our greater community.

No matter where you are on your faith journey, we invite you to join us for worship on Sunday at 9:00 or 11:00 a.m. We ask that you will consider becoming a part of what God is doing among the Methodists in Pflugerville.

I look forward to meeting you,

Pastor Russell

Who We Are

Pflugerville United Methodist Church is a Methodist Community, and we follow the beliefs and traditions of the United Methodist Church worldwide.  We are ordinary people seeking and sharing God's love with one another and the world, and we place a strong emphasis on nurturing the family as well as the individual.  We offer a variety of small groups, Bible studies, prayer and support groups, and activities for adults, students (youth), children, and families as well as traditional and contemporary worship services.   We have worshiped in Pflugerville, Texas since 1983.

We Are Excited to Meet You

We want to welcome everyone as they enter to worship, and our Greeters are available to help you.  Just look for the badges that read ‘Ask Me.  I Can Help!’  Let us knowi if you are new. Stop by the hospitality tables inside the Sanctuary entry hall after the service if you would like to meet the Pastor.

What Time Is Church?

We have two worship services on Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Services are blended (contemporary and traditional) with band-led songs, choral music and special musical offerings, and a message from our Pastor.  Both services are the same.  Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month and in the following Sundays it is offered in a self-serve way. Small Groups for Children, Youth, and Adults meet at 10:15 a.m. Sunday.

We Welcome the Wiggle in Your Kids

Our nursery is available for infants through age 36 months. The nursery is located in the Sanctuary building.  Our childcare workers are certified in First Aid, and have passed a Safe Gatherings background check.

We love to have children in worship with us.  A message for the children is always offered during both services. They are invited to the front for a brief message and then they go to Children’s Church with educational activities. They are welcome to sit with family in the service. Busy Bags are available.  Please see an Usher or a Greeter for a bag or stop by the Welcome Tables.  If you feel the need, you are welcome to sit with your child in the Wiggles Room at the back of the Sanctuary.

We have Children’s Small Group time in the Education Building from 10:15 – 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings for children from Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
